Blessings in abundance for Forest Village

Rainy and overcast weather could not hamper the congregants of Forest Village from flocking to the church on Sunday 11 September 2022 to receive their blessing from Apostle P Lambert.

As a basis for the divine service, the Apostle used a Bible word from  Lamentations 2 a portion of verse 19, where it reads: “Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord."

The main message of the divine service was the value of praying.

The divine service was attended by 471 congregants including members of the district orchestra. The Apostle also called on the rector, Community Evangelist D. Adams, to serve along.

During the divine service, 46 members were added to the fold when they were sealed with the Holy Spirit.

The divine service was concluded by the choir with a beautiful rendition of the hymn "I was glad", and thereafter the Apostle took time to greet the members.
