Making a joyful noise

The joy of participating in music that praises God has always been a central part of our church life and activities.  From our little ones all the way through to our seniors, participating in musical activities is a wonderful source of unity and personal expression of our love for God's work.

Elnor Congregation embarked on a music project in February this year. The aim of the project was to teach 4-6-year-old children how to play the recorder. The programme was so successful that many young people, Sunday School teachers, children and parents decided to participate in this project. Through fundraising, 60 recorders were donated to this project.

As the excitement builds for the visit of our Chief Apostle, choir auditions were recently held at Gugulethu Congregation to form a Xhosa Choir that will participate in this festive occasion.
