Retirements in Eastridge

Two congregations from two districts of the area of the Apostle Bradley Bourne were brought together at Eastridge Congregation on Sunday 21 August 2022 for a divine service that was conducted by him.

The sermon centred around the Bible word Mark 7:35 and motivated the congregation to show the true love of God when we share His word with our neighbour. The Apostle pointed out that through faith and the Holy Spirit, we are able to speak about the salvation plan of God when we hear it and ensure that our neighbours also receive what we receive when we share it.

29 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit during the divine service.

Eastridge congregation bid their Rector Evangelist Errol Williams farewell when he and the Priests Ronald Deverix, Randall Pienaar, Paul Smith and the Deacon John Japhta were placed into retirement. The ministers, who served 150 years collectively, were sincerely thanked for their dedication and love displayed during their time of serving in their various ministerial roles.
