The Apostolate is preparing the bride of Christ

On Sunday 7 August 2022, Apostle B Bourne visited Hazeldene Congregation.

Much joy filled the room as the congregation waited to receive the blessing and word of God. The Apostle used a Bible word from 2 Corinthians 11:2 as a basis for the divine service. The message of the divine service was “The Apostolate is preparing the bride of Christ”.

Shepherd Sidwill Jeftha was also called to serve.

During the divine service, 24 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.

After the celebration of Holy Communion, the Apostle placed Priest James Boltman into retirement. The Apostle thanked him for his sacrifices and labours of love performed in God’s work.

Before the conclusion of the divine service, the Apostle also transferred Shepherd Jeftha and his mandate to the Kuilsriver area. The Apostle thanked him for serving God’s children with joy. Thereafter, the congregation received a new Rector in District Evangelist James Faure who was appointed and mandated.
