On Saturday 06 August 2022, the final year confirmands of the Cape Coastal Apostle Area gathered at Sunrise Beach for a surf walk with Apostle Bradley Bourne. Undeterred by the cold weather, the young Christians showed sheer determination to be Together in Christ and enjoyed the early morning walk. Accompanied by their teachers and ministers, the confirmands were wisely guided by the Apostle when he shared a few words of encouragement to keep them strengthened upon their path of faith as children of God.

The Apostle urged the confirmands to believe in the power of prayer, to always practice patience, to choose their friends wisely, to remain faithful and help each other through life's experiences. The blessed moments in nature left the youngsters feeling physically refreshed and spiritually motivated to continue on the path that will lead them to become young people in Christ.
