On Sunday 24 July 2022, District Rector Joseph Lee visited Strand North Congregation in Helderberg district. After the Sunday divine service, the Rector and District Rector took pictures with the newly formed congregation male choir and the recorder ensemble.

There is a renewed focus on recorder playing amongst the Sunday School children and adults within the congregation. The children each received a recorder and a recorder course book to support their music development.

On 01 October 2022, the congregation will have a Thanksgiving concert where everyone will be able to showcase their talent.
