Jesus’ purpose was to make the supreme sacrifice and return to His Father

On Wednesday 27 July 2022, Silversands welcomed Apostle P Lambert to their congregation

As a basis for the divine service, the Apostle used a Bible word from John 7:33, 'Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent me.”'

The Apostle explained that Jesus did not only come to earth to bring the message of salvation but also came to sacrifice His life before He returned to the Father. We also want to return to our eternal home with our resurrection body.

In preparing the souls for the act of Holy Sealing, the Apostle mentioned that it is our duty as parents to raise our children so that they can one day leave our home and live their own lives. And as children of God, we as parents also raise our children for their eternal home. 24 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.

The Apostle also placed two deacons into well-deserved retirement (Deacons Van der Hoven & Wilson). Before the conclusion of the divine service, the Apostle ordained three Priests (Priests Davids, Fortune and Klein) and one Deacon (Matinka) for the congregation.
