The Confirmands of Booysens Park Congregation in the Gqeberha-Karoo Apostle Area were treated to an extraordinary lesson/excursion on Sunday, 24 July 2022. After Sunday School registration, the group travelled to Happy Valley at Summerstrand to take part in a practical lesson on faith.

The first part of the lesson was about the importance of God's word. A blindfolded volunteer had to listen to the instructions while making his way to be seated in a chair. Faith comes from hearing the word of God!

The second part was about trusting God in all situations. A volunteer was seated while a bag filled with water hovered above her head. A pencil was then thrust into the bag, possibly causing a spill onto the unsuspected Confirmand. Miraculously, no water seeped from the bag. The Confirmands learnt that with faith they can always trust God no matter what the circumstances!

After all the excitement, a light meal was enjoyed at a local restaurant.
