After many years of prayers and sacrifices, the Lord blessed the New Apostolic community of Olympus (formerly known as Constantia Park) with a beautiful church building which District Apostle J Kriel dedicated on Sunday, 17 July 2022.
Great joy, excitement and anticipation was in the air as the members waited for the dedication divine service conducted by the District Apostle. He was accompanied by District Apostle Helper M Mkwanazi and all the Apostles of South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana, which added to the festivities. The members of Olympus and Lyttelton congregations, along with various District Rectors and Rectors of the Gauteng-Limpopo Apostle Area, were also in attendance.
The Bible word for the divine service was taken from Psalm 84:4, “Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You. Selah.” During the divine service, the District Apostle mentioned that the congregation had to endure many situations that caused the delay of the building of the church, whilst approval was sought from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment. Notwithstanding the various obstacles, the church building was completed in May 2022. The District Apostle encouraged the members to make the Olympus Congregation their dwelling place where they can find joy and peace.
The District Apostle Helper was also called upon to serve along.
Apostles T Nene and J Cronje stood as proxies for the serving of Holy Communion for the departed.
After the divine service, the District Apostle, along with all the Apostles, took time to greet the congregation.
