On Sunday 10 July 2022, Bishop J Cook conducted a divine service in Barrydale Congregation using Genesis 3:9 as the basis for the divine service.

Prior to the conclusion of the divine service, the Bishop placed Priest Charl Phillips into early retirement.

The Bishop thanked the Priest for his commitment and willingness to serve the Lord and His people despite the setbacks and challenges he faced. The Bishop also thanked his family and the congregation for the wonderful support they gave the Priest over the years.
