On Sunday 26 June 2022, 10 congregation photographers in the area of Apostle Bradley Bourne (Cape Coastal) were invited to attend a photography workshop facilitated by Delmaine Viret, a Photographer by profession.
The aim of the workshop was to nurture confidence as well as upskill the current congregation photographers. The idea is that any event within an Apostle area, regardless of size, becomes a suitably workable project with top-quality results.
The workshop project is taking small groups at a time to ensure optimum interaction for the best results. A post survey showed that the most common expected key result was to be able to shoot in manual mode instead of auto, an expectation proudly reached by each participant by the end of the workshop.
As part of the course presentation, basic divine service shots were practised. The divine service protocol and POPIA were also discussed.
The images supplied to this publication are mostly practical shots which formed part of the workshop exercises.
