On Sunday 10 July 2022, District Apostle J Kriel visited the coastal town of Knysna in the Garden Route, where he conducted a divine service in Concordia Secondary School for the members of Concordia East and West congregations.

The District Apostle was accompanied by Bishop I Adams, along with all the District Rectors and Rectors of the Southern Cape area.

The singing of the opening hymn, "Forth, forth, my heart, to Heaven" by the festive congregation paved the way for the Bible word that was taken from Psalm 115:2-3, ‘Why should the Gentiles say, “So where is their God?” But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.’

The congregation was reminded that we are preparing to meet our God in heaven and that we can be assured that He is present and loves us.

After a heart-moving celebration of the serving of Holy Communion for the departed, the divine service was concluded with a prayer. Thereafter, the District Apostle took time to greet the congregation.
