Pointing others to Jesus

On Wednesday 22 June 2022, Bishop Jerome Cook conducted the midweek divine service in Railton Congregation.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of Acts 19:3-4. The singing of the congregation and choir created a truly festive atmosphere in spite of the cold weather experienced.

During the divine service, the Bishop placed Deacon Jacques Fielies into retirement. Having been in the ministry for 20 years, the Bishop thanked him for pointing others to Jesus through his conduct and commitment to God and His work. The Bishop also remarked that his deteriorating health did not deter the Deacon from fulfilling his promise made at the time of his ordination.
