On Wednesday 22 June 2022, Bishop Leon Ravell served the Congregation of Happy Valley.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of Acts 19:3-4, 'And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism.” Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus".'

The Bishop explained to the congregation that the kernel of the message was to point others to Jesus through our words and deeds.

During the divine service, Deacon Ralph Claasen was placed into retirement after 19 years in the ministry.
